In accordance with Mexico's Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP), A&V Hotel Boutique explains how we handle the personal data you share with us. The Spanish version of this notice prevails in case of any discrepancy.
Data controller
A&V Hotel Boutique, located at Av. Fuerza Aerea Mexicana km 6.2, Colonia Luces en el Mar C.P. 40989, Coyuca de Benitez, Guerrero, México, is responsible for the use and protection of your personal data. For any matter related to this notice, write to us at av.hotel.boutique@gmail.com.
Personal data we collect
Depending on the service you request, we may collect the following data:
- Identification data: full name, official ID and nationality.
- Contact data: email address, phone and WhatsApp number.
- Booking data: dates of stay, number of guests, preferences and special requests (for example, if you travel with a pet).
- Payment data: online payments are processed through our booking engine (Cloudbeds); we do not store your full card details.
- Browsing data: technical and statistical information obtained through cookies when you visit this site.
Sensitive personal data
We do not request sensitive personal data. If you choose to share health information with a special request (for example, food allergies), we will use it only to fulfil that request.
How we use your data
Purposes necessary for the service you request:
- Manage, confirm, modify or cancel your booking.
- Check you in and out and provide lodging, restaurant and other hotel services.
- Process payments and issue invoices.
- Reply to messages you send us through the contact form, email, phone or WhatsApp.
- Comply with legal obligations and requests from authorities.
Secondary purposes
With your consent, we may also use your data to send you hotel offers and news, and to ask for feedback about your stay. If you don't want your data used for these purposes, write to us at av.hotel.boutique@gmail.com. Opting out does not affect the services you book with us.
Who we share your data with
To operate, we rely on providers that process data on our behalf and under our instructions: Cloudbeds (booking engine and payments), Netlify (website and contact form hosting) and Google (site statistics through Google Tag Manager).
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We only share it with third parties when required by a competent authority or when the law allows it without your consent.
Cookies and similar technologies
This site uses cookies and similar technologies to collect visit statistics and improve your browsing experience. You can disable them in your browser settings; some site features may not work properly.
Your rights and withdrawing consent
You have the right to access your personal data, correct it if it is inaccurate, request its deletion when you consider it is not needed for the purposes described, or object to its use for specific purposes (ARCO rights). You may also withdraw any consent you have given or limit the use of your data.
To do so, send your request to av.hotel.boutique@gmail.com including your name, a way to send you our reply, a copy of your official ID and a clear description of the right you want to exercise. We will reply within 20 business days.
Minors
A&V Hotel Boutique is an adults-only hotel. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.
Changes to this notice
We may update this privacy notice due to legal changes or changes in our services or privacy practices. Any change will be published on this page with the date of the latest update.
If you believe your right to personal data protection has been violated, you may contact the competent data protection authority in Mexico.
